We invite every geoscientist, both faithful participants and newcomers, to join the 26th Meeting of the Petrology Group of the Mineralogical Society of Poland.

This year we will meet in the European Centre for Geological Education in the Holy Cross Mountains to enjoy new facilities of the Faculty of Geology of Warsaw University set amidst the Palaeozoic dolomites, right in the heart of an old quarry.

With geology so close, just behind the window, let’s look at our new results and concepts, exchange ideas and, as usual, have good time of stimulating discussions. We are sure that sharing the effects of our scientific pursuits in so many and diverse areas will show how vibrant modern petrology is and will display its amazing versatility in the research of our planet.
