Meeting of the EGDI working group of the Geological Service for Europe (GSEU) project

grafika ilustracyjna The second meeting this year of the European Geological Data Infrastructure (EGDI) working group of the Geological Service for Europe (GSEU) project took place in Rome on 24-25 September 2024. This is the group responsible for sharing and disseminating the results of the work of the GSEU project's other substantive working groups.

During the meeting, Marcin Słodkowski from PGI-NRI presented the results of the group's work related to the testing of applications for publishing OGC API Feature services. Pygeoapi, MapServer and GeoServer were tested during the task.

Marcin Słodkowski, as work coordinator, summarised the results of the performance tests. The results obtained provide concrete input and a basis for decisions on the selection of technical solutions that will provide the public with better access to EGDI data.
